REPORTRAR utan gränser är avsändare i en kampanj som bl.a. får dikatorn i Iran – Mahmoud Ahmadinejad – att börja tala.

Först skannar man in QR-koden. Om man sedan placerar mobilen över munnen på en av diktatorerna – eller ”rovdjuren” – i pappersannonsen får man höra en journalist berätta om förföljelserna och censuren i respektive land.

Läsaren – eller snarare lyssnaren – hänvisas sedan vidare till organisationens hemsida för mer information. Så här skriver man t.ex. om Mahmoud Ahmadinejad:

Since President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s disputed reelection on 12 June 2009, the opposition has been constantly and mercilessly repressed. More than 200 journalists and bloggers have been arrested, 40 are still in prison and 100 or so have been forced to flee abroad, the biggest exodus since the 1979 revolution. A score of media outlets have been shut down by the culture ministry’s censorship arm, the Press Authorisation and Surveillance Commission.

The state monopoly of broadcast media continues, access to thousands of web pages is blocked and private ownership of satellite dishes forbidden. The government does all it can to stop foreign radio and TV broadcasts in Persian being picked up in Iran. Foreign media are closely watched and their local correspondents can have their accreditation withdrawn at any time.
